Cobh GAA has been at the centre of life in Cobh for over 100 years. From our earliest days, the club has been a cornerstone of local pride, bringing generations of players, families, and supporters together through our shared love of Gaelic games. Located in one of Ireland’s most scenic and vibrant towns, we are more than just a GAA club – we’re a community, a tradition, and a vital part of Cobh’s identity.

We are a dual club, proudly promoting both Gaelic football and hurling at every age level. From our nursery programmes right through to adult teams, we provide opportunities for boys and girls, men and women to enjoy the games, develop their skills, and represent their town with pride.

In recent years, the club has seen incredible growth. With increasing numbers at underage level and a passionate group of volunteers driving us forward, Cobh GAA is on an exciting journey. We’re proud to be building a positive, inclusive and welcoming club where every player, from the youngest to the most experienced, is encouraged to develop and enjoy their sport in a supportive environment.

To keep up with this growth and to ensure we can continue to support the next generation of Cobh athletes, we are committed to upgrading and expanding our facilities. From better pitches to modern changing rooms, improved lighting, and enhanced training resources, we’re determined to give our players the best possible experience. The ‘Win A House In Cobh’ campaign is our most ambitious fundraiser yet – and it’s all about the future. Every cent raised will go directly towards improving the club’s infrastructure, creating better spaces for training and matches, and ensuring that we continue to grow and thrive for decades to come.
